How Does The Maxi Wailer Work?
The Maxi Wailer is designed to create maximum randomness. Scaring birds with noise is the best way to deter them from visiting an area. The Maxi Wailer has over 70 both audible and ultrasonic sounds that are designed to startle the birds. By having these sounds start and finish at random intervals and with random blast lengths, it is an unpredictable pattern. The multiple speaker system also bounes the sounds around at different angles, producing yet more randomness.
Is There Any Maintenance?
Once installed and programmed, the only maintenance will be a regular check and clean of the solar panel to ensure light is hitting the solar cells and charging the battery. Any cable ties used to secure the unit or speakers should also be checked periodically.
How Do I Install It?
The Maxi Wailer can be installed in numerous ways, depending on the exact location where it will be placed. On ground mounted applications, the main unit can be placed on a tripod. On roofs, the main unit can be attached to the tripod or ballast, such as a paving slab. This provides excellent stability.
Speakers can be installed easily using cable ties or ratchet straps.
